Ipsy Review : July 2017

July 2017 Ipsy

For those of you who don’t know about this subscription bag it is  $10 and contain 5 deluxe size samples (and sometimes full size products)  each month.

Ipsy starts with a beauty quiz that asks you questions about different things you like as well as your different features (i.e. Blonde hair, green eyes, fair skin). Each month you also can review the products your received; so if you love something you let them know and if you hate something you let them know.

This is the July bag design…..Yeah I’m not a fan….. I know a lot of people think its adorable and cute but to me it looks like a sad cartoon of my breakfast…

Moving on to the products!

HERMINERALS; The Professional Blending Sponge

Each month when you review different items you get bonus points that will then add up and you can redeem them for different products. I haven’t redeemed any of them up until this point and I looked through the different rewards and this was one of the options! I love using makeup sponges for my foundation and concealer and I thought awesome! I can add another to my collection for FREE! Well this wasn’t nearly what I thought it was going to be! It’s a lot smaller first off and secondly it’s very hard…it’s very stiff material and even when I got it wet hoping it would soften it nothing changed. Its very dense and I don’t like how much it tugs and pulls at my skin.

Tarte; Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Cleansing Gel

Frist this stuff smells AMAZING!!! Its very fresh and clean! I have used this a couple of times just as a deeper cleaning cleanser than my Skin & Co. and it gets so frothy and makes for a nice clean feeling when you wash away the foam! I really enjoy this and may consider buy a full size in the future.

Chella; Tantalizing Taupe Eyebrow Cream

I have received products from Chella before and I wasn’t a huge fan and I again am not a fan of this product. The cream is very thick and dark for being a taupe color. And don’t even get me started on the packaging and the brush! the brush was thick and slightly flimsy which is everything NOT wanted for brows. The actual brow product is in the base of the tube and is incredibly hard to reach. I will be getting rid of this.

TreStiQue; Mini Concealer Crayon in Porcelain

I actually really enjoyed this product! It’s very creamy and a good color match for me. I did have some trouble blending it out underneath my under eyes but I think that was impart due to the sponge I was using. I tried it again with a different one and it was still a little difficult but ended up looking nice on a no make up make up day!

OFRA; Eye shadow in Gold Rush

Look at how gorgeous this is!!! Such a beautiful color and so smooth, creamy and easy to apply! I had two swatches because I couldn’t help myself (and the lighting was being difficult). OFRA is an easy win for me in any bag I get!

TONYMOLY; I’m Real Sheet Masks

Who doesn’t love a good sheet mask?! These are nice to use on a pamper yourself evening and to just relax and rejuvenate your skin! I really enjoy using these! And they smell amazing!

That’s all I got in my Ipsy Bag this month! This has to be my least favorite bag so far from them but I left my reviews and hopefully that will change!  Leave me a comment if you got something similar or different in your bag!

Keep an eye out for what is up around the curve!
