This is so very late but here is my August Ipsy Review!!!
For those of you who don’t know about this subscription bag it is $10 and contain 5 deluxe size samples (and sometimes full size products) each month.
Ipsy starts with a beauty quiz that asks you questions about different things you like as well as your different features (i.e. Blonde hair, green eyes, fair skin). Each month you also can review the products your received; so if you love something you let them know and if you hate something you let them know.
This months bag was absolutely adorable!!!! Check it out!
Soooooooooo adorable! Especially considering that I absolutely looooooooooove LIPSTICK! And can I just say who’s excited for fall and dark lips!!! Raise your hands!!
Now for the products this month!
SL Miss Glam T35 Blending Brush
Quite literally my favorite part of my bag!!! I love brushes and as you all know I recently got my order from SL Miss Glam of the pink glam brush book and I love it soooooo much! This was an awesome product to receive in the bag this month!
The Balm; Voyage Vol, II Eye shadow
I like the balm products but the samples we get always are soooooo small and so difficult to get out of the cardboard to put into a magnetic pallet. I like the color but didn’t realize it was an eye shadow. I quite honestly thought it was a highlighter due to the nice sheen it gives off! I have since used it as both a highlighter and an eye shadow and it applies very nicely.
Yadah; Silky Fit Concealer BB Power Brightening in Light Beige
This stuff is awesome!!! I really love how light weight it is and even though it is deemed a concealer I have been using more like a BB cream just with the shade I received because it matches my skin really well! I set it with powder and it lasts all day long!
Naked Cosmetics; HD Finishing Translucent Powder
This was very nice powder but it is very white rather than translucent. It does have a slight white cast as well and I’m not the biggest fan of how it’s milled or how it applies. It’s almost kind of slippery if that makes sense. I might use this but I don’t think it will be something I reach for often.
Air Repair Skin Care; Super Hydrating Eye Cream
This really is super hydrating! We have had some really smoky air recently and my skin has been getting the worst end of it all! I used this the other morning and it worked like a charm! My under eyes were so moisturized and my makeup applied beautifully. This doesn’t always happen for me with eye creams because at times it seems to over moisturize my under eyes and things just look weird!
That pretty much wraps up my August bag and I really liked what I got this month! I don’t know if I will ever repurchase anything in full size but I like all of what I got!
Keep an eye out for what might be up around the curve.
