For those of you who don’t know about this subscription bag it is $10 and contain 5 deluxe size samples (and sometimes full size products) each month.
Ipsy starts with a beauty quiz that asks you questions about different things you like as well as your different features (i.e. Blonde hair, green eyes, fair skin). Each month you also can review the products your received; so if you love something you let them know and if you hate something you let them know.
Lets get into the bag!
This month we had the option of two different color bags. This yellow/gold version and a blue/turquoise version. I will say I’m not a yellow fan… never have been never will be….so I am disappointed that I got the yellow one but it will be added to the bags of bags that I have collecting and will eventually find something to use for it!
IT Cosmetics; Your Skin But Better CC+ cream with SPF 50+; Shade-Fair
I love this stuff!! It’s very light and gives just enough coverage to even out my skin tone. I will say the light shade isn’t quite light enough for me in the fall/winter time but I think would be better suited for me when I have a little more color to my skin in the summer time; which is the time when CC creams are my friend because a full face of foundation doesn’t always fly! I am excited to continue to use this and potentially try the full size!
Naked Cosmetics; Loose Pigment Eyeshadow; Shade- Mother Nature #06
This is GORGEOUS! I am in love with this color! It’s brown but then it’s blue and then it’s purple but wait its green and then hold on it almost has a reddish color to it! This shadow is a duo-chrome amazingness and I love it! I have been playing with it since I got it just because I can’t get over how much I love it! I will say this reminds me something of MAC’s blue brown pigment but I think this might be different but very similar. I will say I really like receiving products from this brand! They are really nice quality and they are full size! I’m going to be getting a lot of use out of this!
Manna Kadar Cosmetics; Lip Locked Stain; Shade- Pinot Noir
At first I wasn’t sure that I would like this lippie. When I swatched it, it was patchy and it was kind of goopy for a stain and it was super shinny and I couldn’t see how this stain actually worked. Then I put it on my lips….. It’s incredible! It gives a slight glossy finish and as it slowly wears away your lips are still left with this beautiful berry red color to the lips. I have been using this for days now and I am in love! I think I will be looking into purchasing a full size! And I think I may take a look and see what other colors they offer!
Global Beauty Care; Dead Sea Wash off Mask
I am always a fan of getting masks in my bags! I haven’t had a chance to give this one a try but I know I can always use them for the pure fact that with the amount of makeup I wear and try on and play with my pores tend to hate me! These deep cleaning type masks are perfect for me to use once a week or so to help really clean my face and help with keeping my skin nice and clear!
Benefit Cosmetics; They’re Real Mascara Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara
This mascara is raved about all over the beauty world and I have yet to try it but I can see why! It is very good at lengthening! I don’t notice the volume as much but I am really impressed at how it makes my lashes look! And this is a pleasant surprise for me as I don’t like mascara wands designed like this one; very thin spiky bristles. I always have trouble with these kind being to stiff and ending in my poking my eye. This one however is very soft and also has bristles on the end of the brush that make it much easier to get the inner and outer corner of my lashes. I was pleasantly surprise by this one! I will be using it a lot more in the future.
That concludes my Ipsy bag for this month!!! I really think that as time goes on Ipsy gets better and better and their bags are always such good quality and very versatile! The only downside to this months Ipsy is we could have gotten an S.L. Miss Glam brush as an option and that is one thing I wish I would have had in my bag! Her brushes are amazing and some of my favorites!
Thanks for stopping by and keep an eye out for what might be up around the curve!
