Sephora PLAY! : January 2018

Similar to Ipsy this is also a monthly subscription bag that is $10 and comes with 5 deluxe size samples (and even some full size). This bag also comes with a sample fragrance each month.

This subscription bag comes with products based of your PLAY! profile which you create when you first sign up. It also comes with the PLAY! Book with tips, tricks and beauty advise, the PLAY! PASS that you can redeem for 50 points in Sephora and a one on one tutorial, and the PLAY! DATE which is a monthly meet up to discuss tips and tricks for the products in the bag that month.

So lets dive into this months bag!

This months theme is Happy You Year!

Now lets dive in to the products!

Briogeo; Don’t Despair, Repair!; Deep Conditioning Mask

Thank goodness they finally changed up the perfume sample!!! What I have gathered for the coming year is that they are changing it up with these foil packet samples! I hope this stays around because I really didn’t get any benefit from the perfume samples. I also really love Briogeo so I’m thrilled for this!

Glam Glow; Super Cleanse Clearing Cream-to-Foam Cleanser

I haven’t had a chance to try this just because the box came so late in the month but I am always excited to see anything from Glam Glow! They have incredible masks and different products and I really enjoy getting the opportunity to give them a try before actually having to purchase the full size product because they can be expensive. Some claims for this cleanser is that it helps combat acne and blemishes, oiliness and pores. All of that sounds amazing! I have oily skin and I’m always about finding different products to help.

Smashbox; Photo Finish Primerizer

I have seen a lot about this product recently as it is pretty new to the market. It’s a primer and moisturizer in one. I personally don’t think I need both in one because of my oily skin but that’s beside the point. I will tell you this didn’t make me any sort of oily or anything and it gave my skin a nice healthy look to it. Most times when I have a more moisturizing primer it tends to make my skin more oily as the day goes on and this time I didn’t notice that at all! I actually really like this and might look into getting the full size later on.

Anastasia Beverly Hills; Lip Gloss; Shade- Kristen

Seeing this in the bag this month made me sooooo excited! I have always wanted to try a lip product from Anastasia Beverly Hills but never wanted to fork over the cash. But low and behold here we have one! This color is a more nudy brown than I would normally pick for myself but it’s absolutely beautiful and looks great with any type of warm tone eye look I do. I also love that this is a deluxe sample size which means it will last me quite awhile given all of the other lip products I have!

Clinique; Pep-Start Eye Cream

I’m not usually big on eye creams even though I know I probably should be but I really like this one. I have only used it twice which isn’t enough to know if it actually does anything for my skin, however I enjoy the cooling feeling it gives and helps my eye’s to feel awake and gave a nice base prior to applying my make up. I really like the dome top applicator that makes it easy to get right in around the eye and it’s slightly a massaging motion. I look forward to using this in the future and seeing how this helps my under eye area.

Fresh; Rose Floral Toner

I always love to try new toners! I have gotten something from this brand before and I feel like it was the rose floral mask but I’m not totally sure. I do know that what ever it was that I got I really liked it and enjoyed using the mask. I am really intrigued to used this! My favorite thing about getting samples in these subscriptions is that I get to try before I buy and this is how I found one of my favorite skin care lines. I will hopefully give an update later on with how I like this toner and if I would repurchase it later on!

That concludes my Sephora PLAY! box for this month. I feel like I am starting to enjoy this box more as time goes on. I hope they keep up with the great products and I might keep them around!

Thanks for stoping by and keep an eye out for what might be up around the curve!
