It’s been some time since I posted on my fitness journey and to be quite frank it’s because I fell off the path, and not only fell but rolled down the hill, slide through the mud, got covered in leaves and sand and landed flat on my ass.
I probably sound like the biggest broken record around but I really haven’t focused myself on this topic. I have found myself wandering and dealing with other different items and topics to the point that I haven’t taken the time to really focus on my physical health. I have put more emphasis on my mental health which was really needed.
I needed to take time to find my happy and to make myself better mentally because if I couldn’t make my mental health better there is no way I could make my physical health better. One of the main things you will see with this is that I have been starting to read more and focus more on the things I can change. My book of the month has really been helping me to focus on this and working to make the little things important.
I also have been taking more time to myself and just focusing on me. Taking quiet time has really helped to clear my head and get different perspectives on the different situations.
And now I am working on setting small goals for myself to help me reach my big goals.
Goal 1: Read More
Goal 2: Take more walks
Goal 3: Meal Prep each week
Goal 4: Remember to love myself
Goal 5: Introduce fitness program 3 times a week
There they are my first 5 goals for myself to start to stick too. They say it only takes 21 days to create a habit and 21 days to break a habit. I’m hoping I can not only create better habits for myself but also to break the bad ones. It will take time and it will take persistence but that is why I find I need to start small.
Small goals for a big difference!
Thank you for stopping by and keep an eye out for what might be up around the curve!
