I hope you all are enjoying this series as much as I am!
I have had a lot of serious and self empowerment books but I promise I will start to include some other fiction that I also enjoy reading just stay tuned!
This months book is Begin Again by Leeana Tankersley.
I found this through an Instagram account I follow @weightlosshero. She was posting to her Insta-stories one of the pages from the book and I thought it looked like a great read! I ordered it from Barnes and Noble Market place and with in two weeks had it in hand and ready to read!
I have really love reading this book! It’s been such an eye opener about not only taking a hard look at myself but also that it’s ok to not be on all the time and that perfect anything is unachievable no matter how hard we try.
The whole of this book is all related around the title of beginning again and even when we have hit the bottom of the bottom we can always begin again. We have the ability to start something fresh as soon as we are ready to accept that whatever it was didn’t go as planned or didn’t go perfectly. We can always begin again!
This has been such a monumental notion for me because I struggle constantly when things don’t go just right. I tend to fall and then continue on the downward path rather than taking a moment and beginning again.
I have loved the message so much from this book and I have felt like it has so much meaning in my life personally. I am becoming more self aware of how I get down on myself and when things don’t go perfectly how I want them to.
I enjoy the realness that Leeana shares in this book about her honest struggles and fears. I find that this openness in her book allows myself as a reader to feel a connection on a level of no being alone in these difficult moments. But as it’s reiterated throughout the whole book we must pause, breath and begin again!
I highly recommend this book!
Thank you for stopping by and keep an eye out for what might be up around the curve!
