Ipsy Review : December 2018

For those of you who don’t know about this subscription bag it is  $10 and contain 5 deluxe size samples (and sometimes full size products)  each month.

Ipsy starts with a beauty quiz that asks you questions about different things you like as well as your different features (i.e. Blonde hair, green eyes, fair skin). Each month you also can review the products your received; so if you love something you let them know and if you hate something you let them know.

Lets get into this months bag!

First off can we just take a moment to adore this bag! It’s a gold/champagne sequin on one side and a matte black vinyl on the back. It’s so adorable and makes for a great clutch for anything in the new year.

Now for the products…and we got and extra one this month!

The Crème Shop- Limited Edition Sheet Masks

I’m a sucker for sheet masks! I love to use them when I am taking some “me time” to pamper. These masks are limited edition holiday masks and are super cute! I can’t wait to give these a try!

Farah Brushes; 35E Gold Collection

Yes, yes this is another one! Another BRUSH! This is a really pretty and nice quality eye brush and will be a nice add to the collection.

Kiss and Smink ; The Everything Stick in Tulum

This product is designed for eyes, lips, cheeks and well everything! I absolutely love the color on this product! It’s that perfect golden peachy pink. It’s got subtle gold glitter in it that really adds a pop. I haven’t had a change to try this out but a couple of times so I don’t have solid thoughts on it but I think this is a fun item to get in the bag and will be fun to use come spring and summer!

The Balm Cosmetics- Eyeshadow in Bootylicious

I know I have probably said this in the past but I am so happy the The Balm got their act together and started offering regular size pans for samples! I do like this eye shadow but the shade is deceiving from the pan to swatch. In the pan it looks like it has more red brown undertones but when swatched it comes out more golden bronze. Either way this is a really pretty shade!

Katherine Natural Cosmetic’s- Highlight in Siena’s Highlight

I am in love with this shade! It’s a subtle goldy-champagne and it’s just beautiful! Not only would this be a beautiful highlight it also makes for a break eyeshadow! The formula on this is also really nice and creamy I think this is really beautiful. This is a new brand for me and when I was doing some looking for it I couldn’t find this particular shade to link. They also don’t sell directly from their website any more from what I could gather. However they do sell through Beauty Kind which I have linked for you all!

Ciate London- Glitter Flip Metallic Glitter Lipstick in shade Infamous

This was the item I was most looking forward to in the bag this month! I had always wanted to try these out from the moment that I saw Tati review them on her channel. I don’t know how they managed to formulate these but the lipstick is activated once you press your lips together to get the shiny, glittery affect. I really enjoy this shade as well! It’s a nice mauve pink with silver glitter! The perfect lip for a night now!

And that concludes my last subscription for the year of 2018! I do have to say it was a pretty great year with Ipsy and all of my subscriptions for that matter! I’m looking forward to what more they have to offer and eventually getting into the Ipsy Glam Bag Plus.
