Boxy Charm : January 2019

**This was supposed to post Monday but didn’t schedule correctly!**

Boxy Charm is $21 a month for 4-5 full size products. The box is always guaranteed to a value of $100 or more each month. They offer a wide range of brands from emerging to well known. There is a beauty quiz you can take similar to Ipsy to go over your skin tone, skin type, hair color, eye color, so on and so forth. They also offer a user friendly website to allow you to review the items in your box.

Let’s dive into this month box!

Tarte- Limited-Edition Rainforest of the Sea-Highlighting Eyeshadow Palette Volume III Retail Price $36

How pretty is this palette?! I think this is a stunning collection of mostly shimmer shades. I personally like to have a couple of matte shades just to get a full look out of a palette but the quality and beauty of this palette is totally fine without any other shimmer shades! We did have the option of getting two other palettes from Tarte that are similar to this one and I wish I had gotten the one with more pinks and plums but I love having some good golden champagne shimmers!

Tatcha- Luminous Dewy Skin Face Mask’s                       Retail Price $24

More to add to the collection!!! These look so nice and I have always wanted to try some of Tatcha’s skin care products. This I’m most excited to try out this time of year given that it’s been dryer out and my skin really can use the help!

Briogeo- Don’t Despair, Repair! Strength + Moisture Leave- In Mask            Retail Price $16

I love Briogeo products for my hair! They are on the rather spendy side but all good products. I am slightly disappointed that this is only a travel size product. On the bright side this is a decent size travel size and it has enough product in it to last quite some time. I have really love leave in conditioners like this one when my hair is color treated. Makes a big different to use a nice conditioner to help keep your hair manageable. I personally like to go blonde during the summer and that can add up to a lot of damage and this product has helped in the past with not as much breakage.

Ofra Cosmetics- Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Havana Nights                  Retail Price $20

This is another company that I have wanted to try for some time now. I have gotten some of their samples in the past that I really have liked but as all samples do they disappear fast. Of course me being a lipstick junkie this was the perfect one fore me! I really love the shade as well! This is super comfortable to wear and last a good amount of time! I appreciate a liquid lip that will last all day and not need to much touching up and this is really nice for that!

Starlooks- Luxe Long wear Eye Pencil in Brown                                               Retail Price $19

As I have stated in the past I’m not the biggest fan of eyeliner because I don’t wear it on the regular basis. I actually hardly ever wear eye liner. So my growing collection of eyeliner from different companies is starting to become useless. However I do appreciate the change up in color from the typical black. But the shade of this is about the only bonus about this item. The formula is stiff and waxy and doesn’t apply smoothly. I struggle with this tugging on my skin as well when I tried to use it. Not a fan and will most likely be passing along.

And that concludes my January box. I don’t know why but it seems like the box following a Boxy Luxe is somewhat disappointing. How ever the value is still there with this box, coming in at $115. In the future I’m considering shortening up my subscriptions to start saving toward some big life changes and when that times comes Boxy Charm will for sure be the top of the list to keep.

Any how I hope you enjoyed this month’s unboxing!

Thank you for stopping by and keep an eye out for what might be up around the curve!
