Bump Date : Week 23

When I first found out I was pregnant I thought I would totally be able to keep up with putting out weekly updates or even bi-weekly updates on how I was feeling and how I was doing with little one….however we see how well that turned out! HAHA!

In essence this will be my first true BumpDate and I am excited to start trying to have these out every so often!

Week 23

I cannot believe how fast time seems to be flying! In the beginning I really didn’t think it would go by as fast as it is just from being sick but here we are over half way to meeting our baby girl and smack dab in the middle of the second trimester.

Just like they always say I have most of my energy back, which I have been so thankful for! I have been able to get started on a few home projects we need to get finished before baby girl gets here mainly moving out room from upstairs to down stairs just to make my life that much easier once she gets here.

The other big change I have had in the last two weeks is being able to feel baby girl moving around!!! It’s been incredible! She isn’t big enough yet with her movements for my husband to feel her and my placenta is at the front of my belly so that is acting as a cushion but with how much I can feel her I know it won’t be long! She has been getting increasingly more active or I notice her moving more and I love it! It feels like a bunch of twitches or like big air bubbles moving through my belly.

We have our next appointment next week and they will be redoing our anatomy scan ultrasound because last appointment lil’ miss did not want to play nicely! She played nice enough for us to find out that she is a she but not much else! Stubborn already just like her parents. More and more I cannot wait to see who this sweet little girl will look like more; my husband or me.

Beyond that there hasn’t been so many other updates to report. Health wise baby and I are both doing great and I have been doing really well to so far stay the same weight or close to at every appointment which I am particularly proud of. My indigestion has been getting the better of me but I suppose that is bound to happen when everything gets pushed upward. I also seem to get heart burn much more easily and more often these days but again to be expected. One other fun thing I’m just now remembering is that this little girl is not a fan of onions! Yellow onions to be specific. I have tried to eat them on my burger’s and in a salad and each time I’m unable to finish eating because my stomach gets upset. I can’t help but giggle at that fact!

I am so excited to meet our sweet baby girl and I am going to enjoy every moment we share together as she grows in my belly!

I really hope you enjoyed this bumpdate! I will try to do them monthly until we get closer or unless something big happens!

Thank you for stopping by and keep an eye out for what might be up around the curve!
